Bridal Trial
A trial should be at least 3 months before the wedding day, this will last for 1-2 hours for a makeup/hair only trial.
Hair and makeup trial will last around 3-4 hours.
Its advisable to have no more than 1 person attending your trial with you (unless they are also having a trial), this allows me more time to get to know you.
We would have already discussed your styles by email when you initially booked me.
So before we begin the trial, we will take another look at Pinterest or any images you have found of makeup and hair, chat through things you like and dislike, this helps me get a better idea of your chosen look, before i start work on styling you.
I always recommend a trial, so you are 100% comfortable with the final look, you need to feel confident and still look like YOU. Its also a chance to check you are not sensitive to any of the products. All products in my kit are high end from various brands to create a natural flawless base that is long lasting. Lots of cruelty free brands available.
Few tips for the trial:
- Please try and wear a similar coloured top to that of your wedding outfit. Off shoulder or a vest top is preferable - i can then take more realistic photos of you.
- I recommend taking a photo of the finished look so you can see how you will look on camera.
- Don’t worry i always take detailed notes to ensure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day.
- If you wish to have a second trial to try out different styles, the same cost will apply for the second trial.
Trial and travel costs are completely non-refundable.
Wedding Day
I will send over a schedule to you before your wedding day, so everyone knows what time roughly they need to be in my hot seat. This also helps you to relax and enjoy your morning. I am known for being a super calming and fun person to have on your wedding morning. Plus i can always recommend the best songs to add to your getting ready playlist (i love the 90's and early 00).

Wedding makeup lesson
For brides who wish to learn how to apply their own make up on the day of the wedding, or brides getting married abroad. A one to one make up lesson is a great idea to help you achieve a flawless finish for the day. You will receive step by step instructions on applying your makeup. We will discuss the make up products you already have and I will recommend any products that i believe are a must have for your makeup to look fresh and glowing all day for your wedding.
Special
occasion
Do you have a special occasion coming up and would like your makeup and hair done, less stress for you, leave it to me. No need to book a hair salon, i can come to you.
If you have Ascot / hen night / engagement party / xmas party or just a girls night out (who needs a reason to be pampered) I can help you make sure that you are looking your best and ready to get your party started on time (Pink song comes to mind).
Makeup Lessons & makeup bag declutter
We’ve all got a product we have no clue how to use it, let me help you go through your makeup collection and demonstrate how to multitask them products.
All lessons are tailored to each individual client/group and last around 2 and a half hours.
Lessons can include:
- Looking through your makeup bag and demonstrating how to use the products you already have, also making a list of any must have makeup for your collection and where to purchase from (i can help with exclusive discounts).
- Going back to skin basics and talking through your skincare routine for day and evening and which products will work for your skin type (both budget and high end option choices). I really believe good makeup comes from good skin prep.
- Foundation application to achieve the flawless natural looking base so it looks and feels like you are not wearing heavy makeup.
- Soft daytime to evening smokey eye in a few easy steps (we all want quick techniques)
- Mastering the eyeliner and red carpet flick.
- How to apply lip liner correctly and artistry tips to perfect the classic red lip.
- Filling in them eyebrows and make them look natural.
- Anti aging techniques.
- Older teens going into adult hood, most teens will know how to do makeup, but some needs extra guidance how to tone down makeup.
- I will also advise you on which makeup brushes to use and buy.
Any other questions or things you would like to learn, please let me know and i will plan the lesson accordingly.
Printed notes are also supplied.
Please bring your makeup collection, skincare and any make up brushes you have with you to the lesson.
I am also pretty good at taking photos, so at the end of the lesson i will take a few quick snaps of your finished look so you can show off to your friends and family.
One to one makeup lessons are a great gift for yourself or as a present (give your partner/mum/friends a hint, these are super popular as a xmas present)

Extra details
All makeup services include the option of individual cluster lashes. I prefer these over a strip lash, as individual lashes are natural looking and so comfy you forget you are wearing them. Just remember to remove them before you go to bed. I carry a variety of lengths so i can choose the correct length for your eye shape.
All enquiries are welcome, but please note Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Bank holiday weddings between April – October & December a minimum booking may apply.
Makeup/hair only = bride plus three adults.
Hair and makeup = bride plus one other hair and makeup.
*Weekend trials are very limited as my weekends are booked with weddings.
Weekday trials during day light hours 9am-5pm are available. If you request a weekend trial date, please note this is movable subject to a last minute paid job or wedding. A second option date will be offered to you.
*No weekend trials between March-October.

*If I am unavailable and already booked for your wedding, I will always try and recommend other local artists who I have worked with before. I have a great list of contacts who are all fabulous hair and makeup artists.
Alternatively, if it’s a large hair and makeup booking and I feel a separate hair/makeup stylist is required, I have a list of other makeup/hairstylists who I work with regularly who can join us on your wedding day.
