Before booking me for your bridal hair and makeup, take a look at my bridal styled shoots for some inspiration of some awesome shoots that I’ve been a part of. They may give you some ideas for bridal hair and makeup or even flowers and decor.

As a specialist natural bridal makeup artist, I love to show off a client’s freckles, if you have them, be proud and let’s keep the foundation a light coverage.  Or perhaps you are the bride who wants to keep makeup super minimal but wear a red lip - creating a luxe yet relaxed look. I am proud to be known as a relaxed bridal hair stylist creating effortless but still slightly glam hair styles for your wedding day.

Bridal Trial

A trial should be at least 3 months before the wedding day. Trials take approximately 1-2 hours for either a hair or makeup only trial.
Hair AND makeup trial will last around 3-4 hours per bride.
It’s advisable to have no more than 1 person attending your trial with you (unless they are also having a trial). This allows me more time to get to know you, plus too many opinions may confuse you.

Same sex wedding - you can have your trial together or separately if you prefer.

I can travel to you for your trial (some travel costs may incur) or you can come to me in Sidcup to have your hair and makeup trial.

Before we begin the trial, we will take another look at Pinterest or any images you have found of makeup and hair. We’ll chat through the things you like and dislike, how you usually wear your hair and how much makeup you wear day to day. This helps me get a better idea of your chosen look, before I start work on styling you. 

I always recommend a trial, so that you are 100% comfortable with the final look. You need to feel confident and still look like YOU. It’s also a chance to check that you are not sensitive to any of the products. All products in my kit are high-end from various brands. I’ve specifically chosen products to create a natural flawless base that is long lasting.  Brands include Fenty, Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Living Proof, Murad, La Roche Posay and many more brands. Various cruelty free brands are available. Products to cater sensitive skin are also always in my kit.

A few tips for the trial:
- Dogs are always welcome at your trial, or any pet for that matter, as long as i can have a cuddle at the end of the trial :).
- Please try and wear a similar coloured top to that of your wedding outfit.  Off shoulder or a vest top is preferable - I can then take more realistic photos of you.
- I recommend taking a photo of the finished look so you can see how you will look on camera. I will always try and help you relax while taking the photo.
- Don’t worry, I always take detailed notes to ensure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day.
- If you wish to have a second trial to try out different styles, the same cost will apply for the second trial.  

Trial and travel costs are completely non-refundable.

 

Wedding Day

I will send over a schedule for your bridal hair and makeup to you before the big day, so that everyone knows what time roughly they need to be in my hot seat.
This also helps you to relax and enjoy your morning.

I like to have the bridal party ready at least one hour before you need to leave. This allows time for makeup/hair touch ups, everyone to get dressed, have some photos and of course finish that bottle of Champagne or Prosecco.

I am known for being a super calming and fun person to have on your wedding morning. 
Plus, I can always recommend the best songs to add to your getting ready playlist (I love the 90's and early 00’s).

If it’s a large booking I may need to bring a second artist, who I’ve worked with previously and has similar style and personality to me.

Same sex wedding - you may like to get ready together or in separate rooms, we will discuss the logistics at your trial.

change of look / touch up service

Are you having a second ceremony on the same day and require a different hair style and makeup look?

Or would you like your makeup & hair refreshed before your photos and dinner?

Perhaps you want a change of look for the dancefloor?

Get in touch and we can discuss a quote, this will be charged at an hourly rate.

 

Extra details

All makeup services include the option of individual cluster lashes. I prefer these over a strip lash, as individual lashes look natural and are so comfy you forget you are wearing them. Just remember to remove them before you go to bed.  I carry a variety of lengths so that I can choose the correct length for your eye shape.

All enquiries are welcome, but please note Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Bank holiday weddings between April – October & December a minimum booking spend is required - £500 (not including trial & travel). Please get in touch for micro wedding quotation.

*Saturday trials are very limited as my weekends are booked with hair and makeup for weddings. 
Weekday trials on Wednesday & Thursday during day light hours 9am-4pm are available.
If you request a Friday or Saturday trial date, please note this is subject to reschedule if said date is required for a wedding booking.
*No Saturday trials between March - December.

* If you have a large booking and I feel i need a second artist/assistant, i will source a talented artist who has similar style to me, to come and help with your bridal party.

*If I am unavailable and already booked for your wedding, I will always try and recommend other local artists who I have worked with before. I have a great list of contacts who are all fabulous hair and makeup artists.

Based in Sidcup and Bexley, I primarily work in South London, East London as well as further out to the coast of Kent, no distance is too far, please get in touch so we can chat.
